LabVIEW for remote monitoring of HYDACLab?

HYDACLab has a 4-20ma output that is sequential. Four types of data are output from the HYDACLab in a sequential order on one channel:

Start: 20ma for 2s

Pause: 2s

Signal 1: 12ma +/-8ma for 2s

Pause: 2s

Signal 2: 2s

etc...

Is this type of input manageable by LabVIEW?

LabVIEW -- no.  LabVIEW has no ability to read any voltages.

You need instruments to do that.  So the real question is ... What kind of instrument should I use?  or Will (such and such) work?

Once you have the right instrument, LabVIEW should be able to handle your list without any problem.

If you want to find the right DAQ device for your mesurement go to NI.com/DataAcquisition and enter the facent at the botom of the page. You can select current for measurement type and you may want to start with a USB device. You will be able to read any of these devices with LabVIEW.
