LabVIEW for Linux OS support

My OS is RH Fedora Core2 , and installed LabVIEW 7.0. But when running LabVIEW , it can just popup the initial interface then stoped , can not show the LabVIEW envirument , how to solve the problem ?

Did you install LabVIEW as root?
If you didn�t, what happens if you uninstall LabVIEW and reinstall as root? Do you see the same behavior?

Also, do you have Red Hat Linux 7.0 or later?

My OS is RedHat Fedora Core2 edition ,the kernel version is 2.6 . Sure , I install it as root , do you mean I should uninstall it first then again install ?

What I meant is that if you installed LabVIEW as a normal user, you should try uninstalling it, then logging back as root and installing LabVIEW from there.

Now, once you have done this, change to the directory where LabVIEW is installed and try running it from there. But don�t try just typing LabVIEW; type LabVIEW.exe. LabVIEW in Linux takes some time to show the main screen. So, after you see the initial splash screen appear and disappear wait a little bit (let�s make this wait like a minute or two, just to make sure we have waited enough) and see if you are able to go into the LabVIEW environment.

My desktop is KDE 3.2, after install LV , it will generate a menu item in the start menu bar . When install LV , my identity is root . the start process is through click LabVIEW name in the start menubar. I can just see the splash window , when it is disappeared , can not see LV enviroument .

LabVIEW can stop loading at the splash screen if there is an incorrect setting in the LabVIEW.ini file. The LabVIEW.ini file contains many of the LabVIEW settings and preferences and is automatically written to when LabVIEW runs.

Go to the LabVIEW.ini file. Probably towards the bottom of that file, you'll see the key that was changed last in LabVIEW.
Or, just delete this LabVIEW.ini file completely and try running LabVIEW again. If there is no LabVIEW.ini file in your computer, LabVIEW assumes that this is the first time you are running the software and creates a new LabVIEW.ini file. LabVIEW should hopefully work at this point.

Can not find any .ini file . I reinstall LV , the steps as follows:

1, ./INSTALL
2, According the prompt , do anything .

it prompts that the install directory is /usr/local/lv70 . when finish install , execuate ./labview & , the splash window appeared , when it closed , still see the envirunment .
