Post the code and we can have a look. Most errors I have ran into from upgrading that old of code is from the usage of Traditional DAQ, which has been obsoleted and replaced with DAQmx.
You could also look up an NI Alliance Partner and hire them to help your upgrade process.

If it's a DAQ-issue this is a good start, see if it fits your problem.
