Is ethernet IP, modbus, or rs-232 included with labview professional, or is it separate software package?

The direct answer to your question is "Yes, all of those are included in LabVIEW Professional, and a lot more".  Learning to use all of them will take a little time, study, effort, and experience ...

I have LabVIEW Professional 2019 but Ethernet/IP isn't included.  It's a $654 add-on.
