Solved!

Hello,

I was walking on the NXG version of labview and i can't find some tools, there is no longer the tools palette

(with the Automatic Tool Selector) like LabVIEW?

And the ability to customize commands / indicators?

Yes, it's quite different.

AFAIK, The idea of controls\indicators is you now make them yourself in a .net language, using WPF...

Yes and as far as auto-tool goes, NI's direction has been that auto tool has the functionality that most developers prefer...I'm not one of them but I get why they have that opinion.  As a result NXG is auto-tool only, with NI stating they may investigate having an auto-tool disable option if there is an overwhelming request for it.  Which isn't likely since NI is only going this route due to its popularity.

Are you referencing creating controls/indicators for a web application would be done through .net? Or can it be done for non-web LabVIEW NXG VIs as well?
