LabVIEW IMAQ based Human Detection

Hello Everyone. I want to make human detection system using IMAQ tools in LabVIEW. Please give me some advice from where I should start. Like should I go with color detection or what. If someone have some experience in it please assist. I only need to detect a human that comes in front of camera. Any advice or support is appreciated.

OpenCV Utilities has a face detection example. It's a bit bare bones but maybe enough to get started.
