Perhaps the actual code created a JPEG and named the image file with the same name as the VI and overwrote the .vi file. Smiley Surprised

Palchen,

After reading through the original discussion on this topic, it appears that the only way to fix this is to recover your file from a backup.  You can find documentation on this problem here.

Becidea,

The easiest way to recover a corrupted file is generally to load the latest revision that is not corrupted.  If this corruption occurred when the VI was sent as an email attachment then I would suggest zipping the VI in a folder before attempting to resend it.

Hi there,

I'm experiencing the same problem with my labview file which was my 2 months work. I saved when I exit but today morning I experienced the system hang, before I open the file, and after restarting I was popped with this error.  Any help regarding this is very much appreciated.

Hi CNRK,

as suggested before: use a VI from your backup!

You do have backups made for your "2 month work"?

Best regards,
GerdW
