I'm working on an application with a cRIO-9048 and a custom board. The cRIO outputs PWMs through a digital module which control a gate driver intended to spin a custom 3-phase BLDC motor. I have found this example code for Field-Oriented Control which is helpful and seems to be what I need except for one aspect: my motor does not have a position sensor. The example code relies on theta as an input. I would like to use a sensorless scheme where theta is estimated based on measured currents of two of the phases. I have begun to implement this estimation myself, but it sure would be convenient if there were some existing code out there that already worked. Is such a thing available? Bonus points if it also makes it easy to include space vector modulation.
