LabVIEW DSC Module causes my computer from hibernating or going on stand by

When ever I install the Datalogging and Supervisory Control Module under windows 2000 or xp pro it prevents the computer form hibernating, suspending, or going on stand by. It also prevents me form ejecting a laptop form it's docking station. In every case the computer locks up as it is preparing for the respective action.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Geek101

Does your machine lock up while running a DSC program? Or just merely having DSC installed on the machine? What version of DSC do you have?

Your problem may be caused by the keyboard filter driver. This
KnowledgeBase
has more information on this problem, along with a solution.

Just simply having the DSC Module installed does it. I am using ver. 7.1.

Hi Geek101

If you have LabVIEW DSC 7.1, then your problem is most likely caused by the keyboard filter driver. Did uninstalling that component according to the KnowledgeBase help out at all?

It worked for the win xp pro computers and I'm trying it on my laptop (runs on win 2000), so I'll see if that works.

It did work on my laptop, as well. Which is good because the DSC Module had also prevented my computer from shuting down at all.
