You are right the DSC vis doesn't offer the possibility to get the group name. I will try to find another way of doing it.

Unfortunately, this not possible to get programmatically the group a user belongs to. I have check with NIC and there is no way to do it, either by property or invoke node. See the link below.

This feature is almost a necessity yet NI have not implemented it. Anyone know if the new version DSC 8.5 have this ability?

Hi,

With the 8.5 version of DSC, a function called "NI Security Get Group List of User (DSC Module) " has been added.

From the help it is said that this "Returns a list of groups to which a specific user belongs." I think this function will do the trick.
