Solved!

Hello gents. I have question related to old LabVIEW version and if I still can use it and benefit  from it. I already have LabVIEW 2024 full development license but I would like to know if this one still could be useful to use and build exe applications. 0.2.jfif0.3.jfif

LabVIEW 7 came out in 2003-ish.  If you want to install it on anything newer than Windows XP you'll almost certainly have problems.

If you only have "full", you cannot built applications, irrespective of version.

LabVIEW 7 is ancient and there are no guarantees that it will even work on a modern windows PC (details).

If I want to build applications (exe files), what license I should have ? Thank you.

You need Professional or above (details). For simpler editions, there is also the application builder module.

Just an aside, I think this was one of, if not THE most bulletproof version of LabVIEW.  Ever.

If this is for personal use only, you can get LabVIEW Community Edition, which is the latest LabVIEW version that is essentially LabVIEW Pro, for FREE.

The only reason I can see trying to install LV 7.x on a PC is to take advantage of the fact that it does not ask you for a license, so maybe LV Community Edition is just what the doctor ordered!

Edit:  I didn't see your other topic.  This will definitely NOT work for you because you are trying to skirt a licensing issue.
