Hello all,
I seem to be having an issue with the LV environment I am repeatedly dealing with an issue where when I right click on a project item or attempt to save, the LV environment becomes unresponsive for long period of time (right now I have had an unresponsive window for > 5 min) which totally destroys productivity. I am running 2015 on a Windows 10 x64 machine. Any thoughts or suggestions for improving this?
Thanks, cirrus

Does the save actually complete after the 5 minutes?
Are any of your project items on a network location?
Are you running any kind of additional AV/malware software?
Did you scan your HD for errors and bad sectors?
How full is your HD?
Did you try to repair the LabVIEW installation?
What is the CPU use during the stalls?

Thanks, Christian. Some replies below.

If it hangs this long, nope. Just let it run for several hours, never returned.

Nope.

Good idea about the scanning. My HD is not very full...
What is the CPU use during the stalls?
Low - < 1%.
Did you try to repair the LabVIEW installation?
Will try this also.

Just running security essentials (or whatever the MS variant is). Tried bit defender and kaspersky with no changes (kaspersky was meh but may actually pay for bit defender).
Thanks for taking a look at this. I will let you know what the results are when I get them.

Is this a new problem, or has LabVIEW 2015 always acted this way?
There is a program called "SuperAntiSpyware".
Funky name, but it is highly recommended.
Try the free version.
I've used it for years and it has helped me with problems that other programs did not catch.
I was having trouble with a LabVIEW exe running slow on a customer's computer.
This program solved that problem.
Not sure if it will fix your issue, but it is worth a try.

Lol...is it better than malware bytes? Trying it now.

Yes, it's better than Malwarebytes.
Which I have on my PC, but don't use since it doesn't find much.
Of course when I have problems, I try everything

This is always an issue that I am concerned about and is usually the first place I look. Mostly finding trackers right now (doubleclick, scorecard...the usual suspects), but the scan is not complete. Aside from these, this computer is uusually pretty clean. I want to try a repair to see if this can get this fixed after this.

So...caught some trackers and a trojan. Yay. Will let you know if this fixes the issue...
