LabVIEW 2015 Interfacing with Arduino Question

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

For a project, me and a team are trying to use LabVIEW to interface with an Arduino Uno as part of our circuit. However, the version of LabVIEW provided to us is LabVIEW 2015, which does not seem to have the ability to interface with Arduino built into it like versions 2014 or 2016+. Are there any patches or workarounds my group could use to make our LabVIEW 2015 compatible with the Arduino system?

Thanks!

Since you say "interface with the arduino" I assume you mean you want to use (free) LINX, not the ($$) Arduino Compatible Compiler for LabVIEW. It sounds like you don't have it installed for LabVIEW 2015. Just open VI Package Manager, set the system to LabVIEW 2015, search for LINX, and install that.

LINX is installed through the JKI VI Package manager for LabVIEW 2014 and higher.

Thank you. I got turned around initially, because the LINX VI is now listed under "Makerhub," but I got it once I figured that out.
