The problem is with linking to Active X components. I have had a great deal of trouble with this, and came up with a solution that will help you in the long run. Hopefully others can also use this, and you won't run into the problem again.
What you need to do is manually browse to the ActiveX compenent's corresponding OCX file. When you right click on your nodes, you will find a selection for choosing the class. Select the browse button in this dialog to manually browse to the OCX file. This bypasses registration, which appears to be flawed. There may be a work around for this, but I am not aware of any. Unfortunately, this will have to be done manually, but will save you any future headaches.
