LV 6i / File Dialog Positioning

Hi all,

when I run the file dialog in 6i, it seems to default its position (the pop-ups left/top corner) to the left side and below the title bar of the calling vi's front panel. I'm running on win 2000

Is this normal behavior? Can I alter this somehow?

I have exactly the same problem and i wondered if you managed to find an easy answer?

Please let me know if you did, and likewise, i will if i do.

Not really sure but that sounds about right.
You can edit the window options of the pop-up and tell it to
go to the center of screen. It will be dead center of the screen
reguardless of the position of the calling VI.

You can also use the VI server and place it whereever you want.
(At least this is what I remember from ver 5.x)
