LABVIEW INSTALL

HI, I'm a beginner of Labview.

I have labview 8.2.1 Student edition, but I can not install it both in Mac and Windows.

It's said there are damages of packets.

How can I fix that?

Maybe your CD is scratched beyond repair.

You could try to copy the files on the CD to a folder on the HD and install from there, but most likely you need to get a new CD.

Can you install in Windows and not in Mac, or Vice Versa? What is the operating system you hope to develop in?  You will probably have to get a new CD, as mentioned, but you may be able to also try and download LabVIEW 8.2.1 via the Services Resources Center (http://www.ni.com/src) and activate the Student Edition with your serial number.  Note that this download is only the Windows version.
