Issues editing/selecting multicolumn listbox rows

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi folks,

I ran into an issue with the multicolumn listbox in which I cannot highlight/write into the 4th row onwards once I run my program (see attached VI). Not sure what the problem is and as I am new to LabVIEW any help would be much appreciated.

You initialize the array with 4 rows ant 10 columns. What would happen if you swap these numbers?

(Your lower loop needs a wat, no need to spin it millions of times per second. You don't need any local variables if you do the stop value change, with a true going to the stop condition of the upper loop and place the terminal in the lower loop.)> no you can make it latch action.)

Making these changes fixed the issue. Thank you for the additional suggestions.

Here's a quick rewrite with a bit more reasonable code. All you need is one loop. The "value" of a listbox" is the selected row, no need to jump through flaming hoops with selected cell properties and such. You should keep the current listbox strings in a shift register and update as needed. you really only need one itemnames property.

Just some ideas....
