Issue with building VI

Hi, I have an issue when build DaQ Assistant, it freezes the program. I use LabView2016x64 and use NI USB-6009 simulated. I appreciate all your comments.  issue3.pngissue2.pngissue.png

It seems you use an unsupported LabVIEW version on your recent WindowsOS…

That being said:

  • How and where did you install LabVIEW2016?
  • Did you install DAQmx correctly? (It seems so as you can simulate devices in MAX, but you never know…)
  • This "Failed to create directory…" message might be the reason for your stucked ExpressVI…
  • What happens when you get rid of the ExpressVI and use simple plain DAQmx functions?
They are very easy to use and explained in lots of example VIs!
Best regards,

Sorry for my late response. Thanks for your comment. This is my installed location: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2016. And I have installed DAQmx 2016 correctly. I don't know how to fix this "Failed to create directory…" message . I found AF_NiAssistant file in 32 bit but my operating system in 64 bit, is this the reason ?error 2.png

I don't think (but I could be wrong!) that you can build a LabVIEW program that utilizes a Simulated Device provided by MAX.

There is no problem running 32-bit LabVIEW on a 64-bit Windows system.  You'd be hard-pressed to find (anymore) a 32-bit Windows system ...

I suspect this Version of LabVIEW will not make the transition to Windows 11 intact.
