Is there a problem with AMD processor?

Hello to all,

I am going to buy a laptop for working and I use labview a lot (and many programs for developing PLCs, HMIs, etc...)

I would like to know if there is a problem with AMD processor running labview. Do I need an intel processor or I can use AMD?

I can not find a topic related with this.

Thanks a lot.

There's a potential problem if your computer uses a recent AMD Ryzen 3800 or newer CPU. The problem is mentioned in the following thread together with the solution. https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/error-loading-lvanlys-dll-in-Labview-64-bits/m-p/4012188#M1147294
