Unfortunately, there is no real solution for this error. I've seen it happen with LabVIEW Student edition and VIs that have a huge number of controls on the front panel, especially with tab controls.
I added this issue in our database for R&D engineers to review it.
I was only able to open the subVI. I reattached it here.

Just found out that this problem also occurs with relatively few controls and a handful of tabs. I'm just working on a demo for my Mgmt - won't be easy to convince them to buy this.

Hi,
This problem was known with the Student Edition of LabVIEW. Could you tell us which LabVIEW package you have, and maybe post the VI that is causing the error? Even better, generate a service request on ni.com/ask, and we will troubleshoot this issue further through the email support.
If you have any non-student LabVIEW package, we may be able to recover your VI.

Hello,

Thanks for looking into my problem. Since the first time the error showed up another two times I had the error. I'm beginning to doubt about the stability of labview.

To get back to your reply; I'm using a LabView 6.i trail version which I got from an introduction seminar. hereby I post also my VI which I'm starting to built from scratch by tomorrow.

I hope u can help me.

Hi - I can probably load and resave your vi in a special version of LabVIEW if you post it or mail it to me: christina.dellas@ni.com. You said that it only takes a handful of controls and tab controls to reproduce this - could you let me know exactly what you did in order to get this to happen? Also, were you using the student or eval version?

Thanks,
Christy
