Your installation source does not have NI Package Manager. Make sure you have downloaded the source for LabVIEW from NI's website for smooth installation.

You don't provide enough information.

  • What version of LabVIEW are you trying to install?
  • What is the first step that you did?

You got an Error Message because you "did something" -- please don't make us "guess" what you did.  I'll help --  did you:

  • Put in DVD1 of a multi-DVD LabVIEW Installation Kit?  [Probably not ...]
  • Put in a USB Drive with a LabVIEW Distribution?
  • Go to the Web and "do something"?  If so, tell us where and what you did.

Here are some (more) questions:

  1.   What Operating System are you running?  32-bit OS or 64-bit OS?
  2.   Have you installed the NI Package Manager?  If so, which version?

You do realize that Windows 11 is so new that it's not even included in the Windows/LabVIEW compatibility matrix, right?  I'm sure that they probably had Windows "previews" to work with, but nothing official.  That being the case, I highly doubt that's your issue, but it will probably preclude you from any official support, though.

I wish NI would make their installation "process" less painful.
