This is the device I'm using to connect with labview: http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/1490819.pdf

 

I'm trying to read the temperature from the device.  I am also using Labview 2013.

 

Can not perform the operation because of an I / O error. VISA status code: bfff003e

You're going to have to give us more than just your error code... you could be doing many things right or wrong. The best I can do is point your towards the help article for your error. The second to last page of your PDF tells your serial settings you should be using.

Please include a Snippet of your code, or attach your VIs, so that we can better assist you.
