Firstly, you say "make the .daq file part of the app". How? How can the app,
or the installer, programatically load this back into MAX, if necessary
merging it with what's already there?
Secondly, we'd played about with this export function and noticed that it
has lots of hardware details about the card- IRQs, memory locations etc.
Since these are plug+play, there's no guarantee that if a cus
tomer needs to
recover a DAQ system on a new machine the hardware settings will be the
same. What happens in this case? Does MAX simply say there's no card there
and refuse to work or will it intelligently adjust the settings?
