Installing Labview RT OS 2010

Hi,

Is there anyway of installing LabVIEW RT OS without using floppy disk drive?

In MAX, it requires floppy disk to create a desktop PC boot disk...

Thanks..

Hi simply_ynan,

Yes, you can.  Since you have LVRT 8.2+, you can create a bootable USB key.  Please see the following KB:

It is also a good idea to check that your PC meets the requirements needed to install the RTOS

https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/supplemental/08/requirements-for-desktop-pcs-as-phar-lap...

Finally, this link will give you instructions on how to install it

Thanks!

I can now communicate the target PC but cannot get its settings and it says "no network adapter can be cound".

I already tried the suggestion stated in https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019LgjSAE&l=en-US but to no avail. Also, some options are disabled even I log in as admin.

Thanks...

Hi simply_ynan,

Do you also get a yellow banner that says "MaxServerUnknownException"??  Did you run that software to check to ensure that all of your hardware is compatible?
