I want to connect an Agilent 34401A to my PC via RS-232 to USB converter. To do this I have downloaded LabVIEW from National Instruments website. At the end of the installation, I get a Install Hardware Support for LabVIEW prompt, that tells me to choose a location of the required files. I have figured out  that the required files are the 2015 NI Device Drivers. So once I downlaod the NI Device Drives, where do I store them? Should I store them in C:\National Instruments Downlaods\LabVIEW\2015?

Next time, open your own thread.  Decline support. Download the drivers and install them afterwards.  You probably only need NI Visa.  You will want the Agilent software: ni.com/idnet

In the device driver CD that came with LabVIEW. Package includes all hardware drivers for NI, instead of just collecting data.
