Import simulink library???

Hello you all...
I'm starting with Matlab and Simulink and I have some questions.
I would like to create a new Simulink Library for making later my own
model and play around with it.
I have read that I could create an user interface with the Simulation
Interface Toolkit from Labview and from there call my model (the
previous one from Simulink).
My questions are:
1- Can i also export my library to Labview?
2-If so, Can i create a new model from there?

Thanks in advance...
Regards,
Mimik.

Hello Mimik,

It's true as you read that you can use the LabVIEW Simulation Interface Toolkit to make a user interface for your model. This will work regardless of the contents of your model - it will work fine if your model uses a library that you have created yourself.

It's not possible to export your library to LabVIEW, or to create a new model from LabVIEW. However, if you want to create a model of your system in LabVIEW, you can use the LabVIEW Simulation Module, which lets you create and run simulation diagrams entirely in the LabVIEW environment.

Take a look at ni.com/simulation has more information.
The product information page for the Simulation Interface Toolkit is http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/11763
and the Simulation Module's page is http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/13852

I hope this helps,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Thank you very much for your answer, now at least I know I shouldn't use this Labview User Interface for what i want to do.... I will try to find out if the second option you gave me it's good for my program...

Anyway I really thank you...

Regards

Mimik
