Image processing files

I'm new to LabVIEW, and I'm evaluating version 8.5. I would like to know the different between LabVIEW version 8.5 and LabVIEW 7.0.

I want to know the capabilities LabVIEW 8.5 such as the presentation files or other files for studying.

Does anyone have any tutorials or lab examples or the handouts on how to do basic image processing?
