I have been working some time with LabView 5.1.1 (I know it's old, tell my supervisor) and I have recently installed IMAQ Vision for LabVIEW ver 4.0.1 (I know, it's very old). I need to label some images and I am trying to use this new tool to me, IMAQ, but I have a problem. Always I place the VI 'Label' in a diagram there is an error, the program isn't able to find the VI "Imaq LogError". It happens the same always I place any VI from IMAQ in a diagram. I've been looking for that VI but it has been impossible. I think that the problem is more related with the versions but I'm quite lost with it. The installation of IMAQ is so simple that I don't think that the problem is there.
What version of the driver NI-IMAQ are you using? Is it just this
Imaq LogError VI you are missing? And I am not sure that version
4 of VIsion will fully support Version 5.1.1 of LabVIEW. I would
definitely recomend upgrading as LabVIEW is now three major revisions
ahead and the functionality of the Vision module has greatly increased.
I forgot that I had posted this, I should have closed it.
A couple of weeks ago I fixed this. I just renamed 'cvi LogError' with
'Imaq LogError' and it worked. I had to this with two more files, I
just changed 'cvi' with 'Imaq' and everything works cool.
