Did you mean:

IMAQ PCI 1411 doesn't show images...

I'm trying to capture images with a SENTECH STC-630AS camara.

Camara outputs an NTSC signal which I believe is compatible with the
1411. When I try to use the S-video connection, I get the error:
" Can't lock on video source"

When I use the BNC cable, I get no error when I try to snap an image,
but I get no picture either.

Will these two not work with each other or am I missing some setting
etc ?

Thanks very much !

Hi there,

did you choose NTSC in MAX?
Are you able to see pictures in MAX?
Is the camera working well?

No

Yes, it also feeds to a standard NTSC (TV) Monitor and the images are
perfect on that.

Thanks.

Hello,
I am writing my Labview software and using a PCI 1411 card (no Vision module). I have configured my card in MAX. However, I am delivering the target system to a customer who does not want to purchase Labview, so I was going to wrap it up in AppBuilder as an executable. How do I configure the target system programmatically for NTSC and other parameters without having MAX onboard the target system? Or, if I run AppBuilder, does it wrap up the configuration information from MAX into the executable - and therefore, I wouldn't have to do it programmatically?

Thanks so much for your help. I'm supposed to deliver in two weeks, so I've got a crazy deadline going. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Best regards,
Mary Frey
