Hello,
I've noticed that there has been various issues in regards of NIReport.llb when creating executables. I'm on my way to resolving mine, but I somehow lost New Report.vi. When I go to NIReport.llb, I can see New Report.vi, but it is empty. I click it and it says that it wasn't found. When I select it from the functions window, nothing happens.
Is there a way to get it back? I'm using Labview 8.6, if that helps.
Thanks,
Jose

Repair LabVIEW would probably solve the problem. see this link http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/FE6B641E86E55AF2862576DE00038001

lacVIEW
Thank you for your responce.
Does it have to do a Full Repair? I did it with just the Report Generator Toolkit, and it didn't solve it. I also did it with a full repair of LV 8.6, but I couldn't find the distribution .id or .xml file of LabVIEW 8.5. I'm not sure why it looks for the distribution of LV 8.5, but so far is this is what is holding the process to do a full repair.

Ok,
I got the New Report.vi back, but I'm still getting errors. This time it says the the VI's are not Executable... what does that mean?

This thread might help.
Does this happen in the Development environment or on the runtime machine?

Can you post the VIs to see if I can get them to open or recreate the error?
It might also help to see a screenshot of the error that you are getting.

Sure,
I've attached the VI's and a screen shot of the error list.
Thanks for the help,
Jose
