I know how to reset an array programatically, but how does one make the index selector go back to zero(0)?

I have a 1-D array of 5 element clusters. I would like to have my index display go to zero when I perform a "reinit to default" on my array. Right know it only shows the last value that it contained at the time of reinitialization.
