I have labview 7.1 Development and I want to create signed VI's

I have labview 7.1 Development and I want to create signed VI's so I can play them with the LabView player but their is only a sign tool for LabView 7.0 and that won't install.
Is their a way I can sign my VI's so they can be played?

And I don' think that they ever will. The player was, imho, pretty limiting in what it could do. The remote panels feature allows you to publish real, working VIs so you might want to investigate that approach.

Dennis is correct (on all counts). We do not plan to update the LabVIEW Player.

But there's always more than one way to skin a cat. Perhaps there are other options which will work, perhaps even better. Do your users need to execute locally or remotely (code execute).? If locally, built applications might work. If remotely, Remote Panels (as Dennis suggested) might be sufficient.

P.S.
Did you ever wonder where the saying "more than one way to skin a cat" comes from? As I wrote this reponse, and used that phrase, it hit me as peculiar - when or who ever skinned cats (much less different ways)? So I searched the web and have concluded I will go with the rumor of Southern origin, that "cat" is short for "catfish", which are skinned in numerous ways.
