I can't create a new key in registry on win7

Hi All,

my system is win7 64bit, i can't create a new key in registry(root key=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE) by LabVIEW vi, but it's ok when the root key is HKEY_CURRENT_USER. my pc user right is ok, i can create new key manual.

The applications you start, don't automatically get the right that you have nowadays.

 

Even if you're admin, your applications still need to be run as administrator (elevated rights) to get those rights.

To expand a bit, for this to work in dev mode, you need to run LabVIEW as an admin.
