How to solve this Error code/ string code: -1073807343/ ASRL1::INSTR

I'm trying out this program (LabView) to run the temperature Chamber and there's this Error code : -1073807343 and this ASRL1::INSTR

What does this mean ??Is there anyway, I can rectify this problem.

Go to LV-help and search for "visa error codes". There you'll find a list with all error codes. This is what it says about your error:

Insufficient location information or the device or resource is not present in the system.

Check if you provided all the necessary information about your device and if it is correct.

Hi,

Becktho is correct, usually there isn't enough information for that Serial connection. Another thing that can cause this problem is a bad VISA resource name. ASRL1::INSTR may not be correct. You may want to change that control to show COM1. This can also correct this problem sometimes.
