How to plot real time vs. data using multiplier

Hi,

I specified number of sample and sampling rate in DAQmx Timing VI as you suggested. It gave me the same error message. What should I input for the number of sample in the DAQmx Read VI? For example, I input 1000 s/sec as sampling rate and 500 as number of sample in DAQmx Timing VI.

Sorry, I thought the default sample mode was continuous. Set it to this with the timing function.

Thanks a lot! It is running now. I set sampling rate as 100K S/sec and  number of sample as 10K. One thing that I do not understand is that, under these conditions, I would expect it gives me 10 sample per second in the write to file. However, no matter what condition I set, there is always ~60 data points per second. Can you explain why it happened? I also expect to use 0.1 as the x-axis multiplier, but the sacle is not right.. When I set it around 0.8, it gaves me similar real time.
