Does somebody know how to minimize a front panel into another front panel which is already open and running?

thank you in advance!

I think you are looking for SubPanels. Check the help and the examples that come with LabVIEW.

If you need an advanced example, Ben has posted code in the forum that allows 'docking'.

I think he means something more along these lines. Where a window is minimized but stays within the window rather than goign to the task bar. Correct? This is my best "paint edited" drawing.

I have once written an XControl that contained a Subpanel for such a feature. Offically that is called an MDI or Multi Document Interface, it is used widely but almost every program that used it has left that path and either has gone to multiple windows or to tabbed windows.

You can use the Windows API to create such a feature (only do that if you like your LabVIEW to crash), here's another link.
