I have this question for a long time...
I've created an application to get data for an instrument, say data logger.
Like the "device 1" in the attached, there are 3 panels(setting, chart, and table) to be switched for the user.
So, I can run that application for that instrument for standalone use.
If I have another or multiple instruments, I'd like to use a top VI to launch these application for integration use.
However, I'm looking for better architecture solution.
Sometimes I wonder if object-orientation is what I need, but I'm struggling to study that.
By the way, I'm not sure that the program design of "Device 1" in the attached would be too complex...
