How to insert a column into a Tree

I cannot find the way to insert a column into a Tree. Every time when I want to add a new column among the existing ones, I have to rename all the column headers after the newly inserted one. It is annoying.

How are you trying this?  With code?  Manually?  If you're trying to do this with code, please upload the VI.

I take it you mean adding a column in the properties dialog?  I don't see how this can be avoided.
