How to get multi plots working?

Hi, I am using the Plot XY chart example (at ftp://ftp.ni.com/contrib/epd/B45EACE3DF7856A4E034080020E74861/XY_Chart.zip) to plot data in real-time. I have a slightly modified version of it working fine in this respect. Now I need it to allow multiple plots on the same chart - i'm trying this by adding a connector input to the VI where i can specify the plot number to append to. I've tried for a full day and can't get it to work however. Does anyone have an idea how this might be achieved?

I'm not I understand what the problem is. The example (which is identical to the shipping example of the same name as far as I can tell), shows the correct way to do a multi-plot. Take each individual plot which is a cluster of an x array and y array, and then wire them to Build Cluster Array function. Wire the cluster array to the graph. In the example, look at XY Chart C and D.

I had got so busy modifying XY-chart-buffer.vi that I had overlooked the possibilities shown in XY-chart.vi. Thanks for the heads-up. I now have a working copy. Thanks again.

Can you please  update this link? ftp://ftp.ni.com/contrib/epd/B45EACE3DF7856A4E034080020E74861/XY_Chart.zip

Or there is such a VI in Labview 8.2 please?

The example should be available in the example finder (Help>>Find Examples), but I don't like the way it's implemented. Have a look also at this quick example I made.

To learn more about LabVIEW, I suggest you try searching this site and google for LabVIEW tutorials. Here, here, here, here and here are a few you can start with and here are some tutorial videos. You can also contact your local NI office and join one of their courses.
In addition, I suggest you read the LabVIEW style guide and the LabVIEW user manual (Help>>Search the LabVIEW Bookshelf).
