How to control a Spectroscopy Blank on a waveform spectral waveform graph

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi Everyone,

I am new to labVIEW and I have been tasked with converting and displaying the output of a Ocean Optic USB4000. One of the parameters that I need to control is to be able to collect the "Blank Spectrum". I don't really know how to go about doing this, I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks

Can you define what a "Blank Spectrum" is? If you want to collect a background spectrum, you would just have to make sure your light source is turned off before collecting data.

this has nothing to do with LabVIEW. To record a background, just make a sample that contains the buffer, but without the more interesting component.
