If you don't have all the vi s , but say one subvi is missing, but you have the dll, and you know the data in/out (old calling vi is there, but broken), can one get a vi reference from that vi build into a dll (exe) ?
And if I can't create a exe because I only have the basic version of labview? I don't need to distribute it, just run on my local machine and that's it. I believe I only need to remove 1 vi and it should work. I'm not 100% on that, but that's what it looks like. I haven't figured out how to test it though, as I can only open it through the exe and not in labview, so any change I make prevents it from opening and seeing what it did.
Can you clarify a bit more what you mean? How are you making changes to it if you can't open it in LabVIEW? Are you making changes to a DLL it is calling?
