In our lab we use a Princeton monochromator model SP-2155 to acquire different spectra.
In order to set up and control the monochromator Princeton provided a software called SpectraPro, which performs very well.
However, SpectraPro is a closed program, which hampers its integration to other devices and instruments using LabVIEW.
Princeton also provided a library of VI blocks (SITK, third party), which can be employed to build customized, more complex VIs.
We need to develope a VI, which approximately emulates SpectraPro.
Regretfully, we are not LabVIEW experts and it is not easy for us to employ SITK simple blocks to achieve that goal.
Has somebody developed a VI, which permits the control of a SP-2155 (or similar) Princeton monochoromator in the same way SpectraPro does?
I really will appreciate any help you can provide.

Martin

Hey MartinSAN!
I found some drivers for SpectraPro...you might like to take a look into them:

Other users have also built some for SpectraPro:

What communication protocol does your monochoromator uses?
