How do I set the Number Format parameter of the Excel Set Cell Format.vi?

In the Report Generation toolkit , the "Excel Set Cell Format.vi" has a string input parameter for "Number Format". LabVIEW Help does not show any examples for this input, just vaguely says check Excel documentation.  I'm trying to set the cell color red when it is "yes",and green when it is a number between 0 and 254,black for others. How should I set this parameter??

Are you trying to set the number format or the color of the cell? Use the Excel Set Cell Format.vi to set the number format as you would in Excel in the custom Format Cell options. For example, if you want the cell/row/column to have 3 digits of precision type in the Number Format 0.000. Say you have a date/time entry, then use mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss.000 and so on. Again, check the custom format cell options in Excel for more.

As for the color, there's another VI that does that: Excel Set Color and Border.vi.
