How do I prevent sound overlap?

I have created a vi with two loops that each contain a wave file. They are each set to run at separate time intervals. My question is how do I stop them from beginning at the same time and overlapping the other?

Thanks for the help!

Classic software design problem... I think the easiest way is to have a
non-re-entrant sub-vi that actually does the write to the sound card. Both
loops can call it, but since it's not re-entrant they only one can execute
it at any given time.

Good luck,
Bill
