How can I send a waveform over DataSocket?

I would like ot be able to send a waveform over a data Socket connection, but you have to specify what teh data type is going to be when receiveing, yet I can not create a waveform constant to use to tell it that Im receiveing a waveform. How would I go about doing this?

I haven't sent a waveform over datasocket but in order to create a waveform datatype, go to the front panel and select waveform from the I/O palette.
