How can I link my Big 'GO' control to the VI RUN Button

I am trying to make a Big GO control that sits on my Front Panel the same as the Run Icon on the toolbar. How can I link the 2 functions?
Also is there a way to get the 'enter' key to do the same thing?

I have an application where the user will need to make multiple adjustments to the test bed and then run the VI to capture a sample of data
after each adjustment. I thought a big mouse target like a 'Big GO Button' would be best.

Thanks in advance!

Hi pemetcalf,

see CC's explanation on the following thread.

As far as having the "enter" key control your button.

Right click on your button and select "Advanced" menu then select "Key Navigation". Use "Key Assignment" ring to select "Enter".

Hope this helps

Cheers,

And don't forget to set the execution property of the VI to Run When Opened. It's also a good idea to hide the toolbar completely so that the operator can't click the Abort Execution button.
