How can I find the application builder? thanks

I am using 7.0 and wanna build a stand alone application which can be used on the other PC without labview. My understanding is that I will need the application builder to do that. So where i can find the application builder and how can I find out that if my labview is professional and has the application builder? thanks

If you have the app builder from either having the pro version or buying the app builder separately, you will see the option to Build under the tools menu. If you don't have it there, I don't know if you can even buy it since LabVIEW 7 has not been supported for quite a few years. You would have to contact your local Sales Engineer.

I no longer have LabVIEW 7.0 but I do have 7.1. When you open LabVIEW and the splash screen is displayed you can select "Tools" from the top drop down. If the drop down has two arrowheads at the bottom click on that to expand the entire drop down. What you are looking for is called "Build Application or Shared Library (dll)...."

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your input. Unfortunately.  there is not builder in my 7.0 but I did find it is in other machine which had labview 6.1. How I can use use the builder at my 7.0 or I have to do it again at that 6.1 machine because it won't open the file made in 7.0.

thanks again for your help

Redoing the VI in 6.1 is certainly one option but it's a bit faster to do a Save As in 7.0 to create a 6.1 VI.
