Hidden property nodes

Solved!
Go to solution

I was going through, one example (shipped with LabVIEW itself), and found following property node.Hidden Properties.png.

Now if I copy it and try to use, I'm very much able to do so. But I'm unable to create the same property node from scratch.

By creating property node I mean to say:

1) On placing a new property node on block diagram

2) Changing the class of node to VI Server >> VI

3) Browse for 'Diagram' property of VI class..... and I'm unable to locate it... Smiley Sad

Please someone tell me the reason.

P.S. I'm using LabVIEW 2009, Professional Development Suite

These are scripting functions. They are included in 2010, but in 2009 you need to install support.

See here for details.

Thank you Mr. Altenbach for the real quick reply.

I forgot to mention,

though I've modified the LabVIEW ini file and activated following items:

a) SuperPrivateScriptingFeatureVisible=True
b) SuperSecretPrivateSpecialStuff=True

still 'm facing the problem.

Is there any key to be added (in the ini file), after that I may be able to use/find those properties.

Hi Mr. Gaurav,

I'm looking for the 'Diagram' reference and not the 'Panel' reference, so this will not help.

Anyways thank you for the reply.

Try this in labview.ini

server.viscripting.showScriptingOperationsInEditor=True
