Help: Logging Data from the DAQ Assistant

Hi there, 

I am new to LabView and I am using it for a senior capstone project. 

I am using the NI-9219 in combination with LabView's DAQ Assistant in order to read current signals from a couple of pressure transducers. 

I am able to generate data and read it instantaneously in the DAQ Assistant but I can't figure out how to log it to a tdms or generally export the data to a spreadsheet and/or text file. 

There is a logging tab within the DAQ Assistant and it says to "configure logging and then use the task in a development environment to begin logging to disk." I have no idea what that means. 

can anybody give me a step-by-step on how I can get numerical data exported to a spreadsheet or something of the sort?
