Commonly known as tool tips under Windows, this feature isn't currently
available in LabVIEW, though it's been a frequently requested addition.
Until it does become a built-in feature, you'll have to look for a third-party
solution or create something similar on your own. A fellow named George Zou has
implemented what I believe is a Windows-only version of tool tips for LabVIEW;
it's currently mentioned on his main page (http:
//rtprint.yeah.net).
